Do I need to be studying biology to take part?
No! The competition is open to all curious students. All you need is interest and motivation.
Is there a cost to enter?
The preliminary online MCQ round is completely free of charge. If you successfully pass the online round, a small fee will have to be paid to enter the finals. Please note that all of the fees go are used to support the operation of the UK Brain Bee.
Can I join if I have participated in the UKBB previously?
Yes — students can participate each year, as long as they meet the age requirements.
